Psalms, Hymns, and Spiritual Songs– Join us at 6:00 tonight for an uplifting celebration of Jesus in song. Come ready to share your favorite Psalm, hymn, or spiritual song, or just sing along as we worship together.
Men’s and Women’s Lenten Breakfasts - Men’s Lenten Breakfast is this Wednesday, April 3 at 7am at St. Paul's Evangelical Free Church. The United Methodist Church will host the Women’s Lenten Breakfast/Study this Wednesday, April 3 at 9:30am. The FBC ladies will be the host for the women’s study on April 10. Schedules are now available on the foyer table.
Church 101 – Starting next Sunday, April 7, at 9:30 am in Room 15, and meeting four consecutive Sundays, Pastor Rob will be teaching this course to give an introduction to who we are, what we believe, what we do, and how you can be a part of it! Contact Pastor Rob for more information.

The Upper Room – Thursday, April 18, 7:00 pm. Join us for a special gathering around the table in remembrance of Christ.
Good Friday Community Service – Friday, April 19, 7:00 pm, at the United Methodist Church in Petersburg. All are welcome to come.
Easter Sunrise Service – Sunday, April 21, 6:13 am at the Old City Cemetery across from St. Peter’s Catholic Church.
“Behold Our God” – Sunday, April 21, 10:45 am. The FBC Choir will leadthis music-filled worship celebration of the resurrection of Jesus.

The Word in Worship – We are excited to announce that Jonathan and Emily Martin will be with us leading worship celebration on Sunday, May 5! Check out their ministry at www.thewordinworship.com.
Kids Camp – June 10-14 at Streator Baptist Camp! For children completing grades 4-6 and youth completing 7-8. Adult chaperones also needed. Cost is $165; scholarships available. Watch for more information coming soon.
Mission Trip Opportunities - Streator Baptist Camp – May 6-9; Phelps, KY – July 10-13. See the bulletin board for more information. You can also help now by donating new winter coats for children along with hats, gloves, scarves, etc., and backpacks and school supplies for the Phelps mission trip. A donation box is located in the foyer. Thank you for giving!

Menard County Food Pantry – Your donations of non-perishable food items are always welcome and appreciated as we partner with this local community ministry! Volunteers are also needed to serve on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1-3. If you’re interested, please see Keith for more info.
Offering Envelopes – Your gifts to the First Baptist Church are greatly appreciated and intentionally used to further the message of Jesus. Did you know that your gifts are also tax-deductible? When you give using offering envelopes we will provide you with a year-end Contribution Statement for your tax records. Boxes of offering envelopes are available from the church office, or pick one up from the table in the foyer.
Bible Reading Challenge for 2019 – Gain wisdom for the journey as you follow Christ. 1. Read one chapter in Proverbs each day. 2. Highlight and meditate on one verse that jumps out at you. 3. Commit this verse to memory, to prayer, and to practice. And you’ll soon be choosing to walk more faithfully in the way of wisdom in the New Year!
